The wonderful mentors I’ve found – if not for you, many things may be non-existent. And because of you and your wonderful advice, life is good.
I am attempting to live life in a [slightly] more melancholy state because after what the amazing speaker said on Sunday, yes, it indeed is a small price to pay for peace to keep things neat[er] for the one who cannot operate when things are out of order (my mum). No wonder she simply can’t stand the sight of my room and my room, in its best state, is a ‘cockroach breeding zone’, and I reiterate, word for word.
I’ve also found it simply hilarious and so endearing that more often than not, she is cleaning up the place. I suppose it’s the entire reason why my house has looked the same as when we first shifted in 17 years ago- it hasn’t aged one bit because she’s kept it to the pristine standards. Now, if it were left up to me, goodness knows what it’d look like now. Me, I’d hire a maid to keep it clean =)
But I’ve also found a guy who will do the housework which is a rare find. I’ve since realised that the best guys (i.e. the good natured, sweet ones), do not know how to treat girls like princesses. And the ones who do, aren’t the best catch. So after considering both sides, I’d much prefer a good natured family type yet ambitious, non-lazy guy who doesn’t know the Best way to treat a girl like a princess, but one who is always willing to learn.
You’re ambitious, you’re so different from me and you’re so willing to do what it takes for us and I just needed you to voice it out..now that you have, we’ve taken a step in the right direction and we’ve got the next few years all mapped out =) L.A. here we come!!!!
