This blog seems to be sadly bereft of beautiful photos. And there’s a very good reason why.
(I’m too lazy to upload photos)
=)
We’ll have to replace the photos with more beautiful words now.. won’t we.
Words can paint a pretty picture.

Now of course, you did notice that prodigal was in inverted commas, and I meant it in the literal sense of the word, to describe the fact that I have been away.. nothing other than that.
Yes…. I have been away. I have been…busy. Busy enriching myself with various teaching lessons that life has to offer (OK I have been waking up at 12noon rather often, but I have changed that for the past week). But yes, enriching myself in various ways.
Delayed gratification.
I just read two books. One’s called “Unleash the giant within” (MUST READ), and a book called “Winning with people” by John C. Maxwell and it’s about how every single thing we do or accomplish in life revolves around relationships with people. Mighty true. And I came across a poem. Now, being rather poetically inclined myself (goodness gracious, I haven’t written a poem for ages. I will resume), this blog will now be graced with a poem from yours truly. Simple, yet true.
If you could have a single day
Where all cares disappear
If there was but a single way
For dreams to present us here
Everything that we’d ever want
Things which our hearts hold dear
To do the things which others can’t
To eliminate all fear.
So dream of that utopic place
For reality, it can give
The desired things we want in life
We just need to believe.
Now I will say to you one thing
That dreams, they can come true
Hold fast, believe, and you will see
Those dreams were meant for you.
